Richard

Prayers will be 9am Monday July 9, 2012 at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home; followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard for Richard Resatar age 65, of Hubbard who entered into rest Thursday July 5, 2012, at Sharon Regional Health Center, after he fought a brave battle against cancer.

Richard was born, May 29, 1947 a son of George and Blanche D. Rosser Resatar. Richard was a 1965 Graduate of Hubbard High School.

Richard was a Concrete Specialist for 45 years. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #66 Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, and an active member of the Church Folk Group. Richard was also active in the North Side Club, and he was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus in the Girard Council 2935.

Richard enjoyed fishing, camping and playing the guitar.

Richard is survived by his wife Christine A. Morocco, whom he married April 21, 1978. He is also survived by son Richard J. (Yolanda) Resatar of Hubbard. His daughters Kristin H. (Rick) Bowser and Felicia Resatar both of Hubbard, he also leaves his brother Jerry (Patty) Resatar of Hubbard. He leaves four grandchildren Zachary, Cameron, Sydney and Nicholas; as well as 10 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling Hours will be Sunday July 8, 2012 from 3-8pm at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home in Hubbard. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society 525 North Broad Street Canfield Ohio 44406.
