There will be prayers 9:15 AM Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Timothy O’Neill officiating at 10 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church Hubbard for Robert J. Lucarell, age 62, who passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.

Robert was born January 11, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of William & Carmel Ford Lucarell. He was a 1968 graduate of Rayen High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Robert worked for the Ohio Turnpike Commission as a Supervisor for 15 years. He was a devoted member of St. Patrick Church of Hubbard, and VFW Post 3767 Hubbard. He loved spending time with his family, especially fishing with his grandchildren and being around his dogs.

He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Cheryl L. Bolger whom he married July 26, 1973, their children Robert J. (Petrine) Lucarell II of Hubbard; Jennifer A. (George) Swartz of Cincinnati; Jill L. (Ralph) McFarland of Cincinnati; and Tracy (Thomas) Huber of McDonald. Seven grandchildren Nicholas, Robert, Daniel, Quentin, Alyssa, Isabella and Sophie.

Robert also leaves his father William Lucarell of Hubbard; brothers Donald (Jane) Lucarell of Farmdale; William (Jackie) Lucarell of Girard; and his sister Phyllis (Tony Sr.) Cafaro of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carmel, and a nephew Jimmy Lucarell.

There will be calling hours on Monday, July 9, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
