There will be Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM Monday July 9, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church Hubbard for Sophie A. Patrick, age 84, who passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Northside Medical Center.

Sophie was born February 25, 1928 in Campbell, Ohio a daughter of Paul & Anna Barsh Ostrowski. She was a 1946 graduate of Campbell High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Sophie worked as a hostess at the Captains Table at the Ramada Inn, as well as the Isle of Capri in Boardman retiring in 1995. She was a devoted member of St. Patrick Church of Hubbard. Sophie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Albert J. Patrick Sr. whom she married September 4, 1948, children Albert J. (Ruth Anne) Patrick Jr. of Canfield; Joyce Dorbish of Boardman; and her six grandchildren, Melissa, Adrienne, Philip, Erica, Kimberly, Brent; and five great grandchildren Christopher Jr., Luca, Patrick, Michael, and Rocco.

She also leaves her brothers Matthew Ostrowski of Las Vegas, Nevada, Edward Ostrowski of Campbell, George Ostrowski of Campbell; and a sister Eleanor Kozusko of Campbell, Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Stanley Ostrowski, Paul Ostrowski, and John Ostrowski and her sisters Clara Pompili, and Jennie Boncyk.

There will be calling hours on Monday July 9, 2012 from 12pm to 1pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hubbard with mass to follow.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
